Susan Hammer  has been named the 2012 Oregon Mediation "Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers®.
Super Lawyers has recognized Susan Hammer in the “Top 25 Oregon Women Lawyers.”
Susan Hammer recently received The City Club Award, the highest award given by the City Club of Portland for community service.

April 2011, Susan Hammer received the first “Susan Hammer Award for Transformative Leadership” from Planned Parenthood of the Columbia-Willamette.
American Bar Association, Dispute Resolution Section meeting, Denver, Colorado. Ms. Hammer participated in two panels: “Advocacy Genius: Leading Mediators Tell Counsel What Works in Complex Mediation” and “Mediating Employment Disputes” April 2011.
Susan Hammer co-presented with Professor Richard Birke at the Oregon Law Institute on “Decision Making Under Conditions of Risk and Uncertainty: What we can learn from Neuroscience and Psychology”, April 2011.
Susan Hammer participated in a panel for the Oregon State Bar on “Advocacy in Employment and Commercial Mediation”, May 2011.
May 2011, Susan Hammer received the International Academy of Mediators first “Spotlight on Heroes Among Us” Award.
