Ms. Hammer is an experienced mediator specializing in matters that are legally, factually or emotionally complex. She values thoughtful preparation, integrity, and creative approaches to difficult problems. She works with attorneys and parties to design a process that fits their needs and optimizes their opportunity for resolution. She mediated while practicing law from 1978-1998 at Stoel Rives LLP. In 1999, she established Dispute Resolution Services. She has mediated over 1,500 disputes.
In addition to her dispute resolution practice, Ms. Hammer is a Senior Fellow at the Willamette University Center for Dispute Resolution, where she teaches lawyers and law students negotiation, mediation and mediation advocacy.
